GUIDELINES
The goal of Peabody Preserve Outdoor Classroom is to take students into a natural setting to engage in hands-on learning experiences and develop an appreciation of the natural world and our role as its stewards.
In order to protect and preserve the PPOC site we ask that you respect the following guidelines:
Bring out what you bring in – there is no trash collection service on the trails.
Groups should remain on the trails whenever possible.
In order to keep the property in its natural state with the minimum human footprint, no built structures can remain on the site for more than a week. Proposals to add a structure to the site for a longer period of time must be approved by the Friends of Peabody Preserve – [email protected].
All signage on the site should be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Dogs and bikes are not allowed on the trails.
Camping and building fires is prohibited on the site without prior approval from Friends of Peabody Preserve – [email protected] or the Superintendent.
